The amount of the Disability Benefit is different to every American

- March 1st. Supplemental Security Income payment.
- March 1st. Disability benefit for pre-1997 beneficiaries.
- March 13th. Post-1997 beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th get money on this day.
- March 20th. Retirees with birthdays between the 11th and 20th and a benefit from after 1997 get the Disability payment on this day.
- March 27th. The Social Security Administration sends payments to post-1997 retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of any month.

What is the maximum SSDI check in 2024?
The maximum Disability benefit payment in 2024 is $3,822. Still, not all beneficiaries have increased their check that much with the 2024 COLA. In order to reach that figure, it is necessary to have the maximum check in the previous year.
The average increase is over $120, although that changes each month. The calculation of the average Social Security benefit is done each new month with the benefits sent to beneficiaries.
Still, your March check will have an increase over the 2023 payment. Therefore, you will not have a payment like December of the previous year, but with the increase included in the months of January and February.
