Disability Beneficiaries will get a new check with extra payment in March
Although many United States citizens may think otherwise, United States Disability beneficiaries collect their monthly check just like other retirees. And each of these SSDI retirees collects his or her payment on a different day.
The day on which each Disability retiree gets his or her benefit depends on both the day of birth and the year of retirement. These two elements are the key to determining whether our retirement payment arrives earlier or later.
However, we don’t have to worry at any time about getting paid each month. The Social Security Administration sends Disability payments to all Americans regardless of the type of benefit they have or the group to which they belong.
One of the great advantages of collecting a Social Security benefit is undoubtedly knowing that we will receive that amount each month without having to apply for it. In addition, if we control the Disability payment schedule well, we will have our household finances well organized.
Next Disability payment with an increase in just three days
The payment for Disability will have an increase in this month of March with respect to March of last year 2023. And is that after applying the COLA, each of the payments have increased by 3.2% starting in the month of January of this year 2024. So our payment is higher than last year.
Still, this benefit payment can reach a maximum of $3,822 in 2024. This maximum payment is only for beneficiaries who have reached certain requirements. But leaving aside, that aside, regardless of the amount of the check, in this week we can get payment.
To get the Disability check this March 20th, 2024 we will need to meet two requirements. First, our retirement must have started in May 1997 or later. Also, we must have a birthday between the 11th and 20th of any month.
Only these two requirements are necessary to collect the new Disability payment this week. Failure to meet them means that we will get the payment on a different day. So check the Social Security payment schedule to see if you will receive your new benefit this week.
