will.i.am has recently partnered with LG Electronics to launch a new line of Bluetooth speakers and earbuds under the brand name “xboom by will.i.am.” Each product is meticulously calibrated by the Black Eyed Peas artist, who has been named the “Experiential Architect” of LG’s xboom brand. The products deliver a unique sound, characterized by will.i.am’s signature use of balanced warm tones.
Lee Jeong-seok, who heads the audio business division at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company described the “xboom by will.i.am” line as “the beginning of a dynamic, collaborative journey” for both the brand and the artist. Lee expressed their excitement about revealing the partnership’s initial results at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), adding that starting with this new line, LG aims to “continuously elevate every aspect of the listening experience.”
There are currently four speaker models in the lineup including xboom Bounce, xboom Grab, xboom Stage 301, and xboom Buds. All models feature artificial intelligence capabilities, including a button for AI-curated content provided by will.i.am’s creative collaboration company, FYI.AI. With a simple press of the button, users of xboom audio products gain instant access to RAiDiO.FYI, the platform’s AI-powered radio. This service offers programs that specialize in infotainment—an engaging blend of information and entertainment. Scheduled for a worldwide release in 2025, the “xboom by will.i.am” audio products were displayed at the LG booth at CES in Las Vegas, where they will be showcased from January 7 through January 10.
will.i.am Appoints Jason Derulo To Key Role At FYI.AI
During a CES 2025 press event on Monday night, will.i.am announced the appointment of Jason Derulo as an Ambassador and Intelligent Media Leader at FYI.AI. According to a press release, Derulo’s involvement began last November when he visited the FYI campus in Hollywood as a guest on CONVOS, a program where artists and creatives engage in thought-provoking conversations with FYI AI personalities. Following his appearance, Derulo expressed interest in becoming involved with the rapidly growing platform.
