OKLAHOMA CITY – A Texas-based real estate brokerage has announced a merger with metro-based CENTURY 21 Goodyear Green.

It’s the first venture for CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company outside of Texas. The merger means the brokerage will add Edmond, Midwest City, Norman, Guthrie and Harrah offices, growing the company to more than 28 offices in the two states. It’s the number one CENTURY 21 in Texas and Oklahoma and the fourth largest in the nation.

CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company has more than eight decades of experience providing real estate services and specializes in residential, commercial, fine homes and estates, farm and ranch and apartment locating. With this expansion, the company looks to share its experience with Oklahoma while maintaining a prominent presence in Texas, according to a release.

This is the company’s fourth merger in the last five months, following the integration of the Granbury and Glen Rose Regional Offices and the Waco Regional Office.

President and CEO Jim Fite, is the son of Judge Fite, who founded the company 87 years ago. They were an independent realtor for 60 years before joining the Century 21 system 27 years ago. Fite and his sister Jan Fite Miller bought the company in 1977.

Fite said he’s known former owners Jan Goodyear and Dan Markus for many years. It was decided during a conversation several months ago that a merger was the right move for all parties.

“We want to help take them to the next level here and in this market, and that’s why we’re here,” Fite said.

Fite said they acquired the name CENTURY 21 Goodyear Green, but will ultimately be converting it to CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company. He said it just takes some time to create new office signs, business cards and name badges.

“The point of doing it this way is to continue to provide service to clients where our clients here do not miss a beat. We don’t want to have any disruption of the marketing of properties. Matter of fact, we want to enhance it, not diminish it in any way,” Fite said.

Leading the new Oklahoma offices as District Sales Manager is Jennifer Grimes. She has a background of more than 21 years of experience in real estate and training. She has been a regional sales manager for agents in the Denton and Decatur, Texas offices since 2018. As the company expands into Oklahoma, Fite anticipates that Jennifer’s leadership will contribute to the brokerage’s continued success and growth.

“She and her husband bought a ranch up here just southeast of Oklahoma City, so it just seemed like a natural fit as they were moving their family this direction,” Fite said.

Grimes said she believes in inspiring and coaching others to reach their fullest potential, and she’s excited and eager to lead the team and bring her passion to the Oklahoma market.

“Together, we will continue to elevate our standards, provide quality real estate services, and create lasting success stories for our agents and clients across regions,” Grimes said in a statement.

Ashley Conlon, general sales manager, said clients will benefit from the collaboration, which combines industry-leading resources and their 99% quality service rating.

“This will enable us to provide real estate solutions to clients in Texas and Oklahoma with localized services and a global network,” Conlon said in a statement.
