To Unlock Life And Career Success, Let Go Of The Broken Pieces

by admin

It’s already broken. It’s already too hard. It’s already a struggle, and it’s already draining your spirit. The seemingly out-of-reach life and career success you yearn for is causing you despair, and it’s causing you to feel smaller than the brilliant and amazing person you know you’re meant to be.

The lack of joy, lack of choices and lack of professional growth are causing you to break inside. Instead of fighting it, go ahead and let it break. Let the disappointments, mistakes, failures and should ofs, would ofs and could ofs fully break—let it all finally break—indeed!

See, you’re just holding on too tight. You’re holding on to what might happen; what could happen; what should have happened by now; what you thought you deserved; what you invested in; what you dreamed yesterday. You’re holding on to the broken pieces of your hopes, life and career, and the jagged edges are cutting into your purpose—your career success—and blocking you from having the life and career breakthrough that you badly want.

Let Go of the Broken Pieces to Unlock Life & Career Success.

Literally, the broken pieces you’re hold on to are limiting your ability to become more and to do more. These pieces cause you to shrink in areas where you should expand. They cause you to kneel when you should rise, and they cause you to dull your power and competence in places where it should shine.

The broken pieces are an impediment to your brilliance, and they serve as an obstruction to personal and professional growth. If you want to experience more of your deepest hopes and dreams, you’ve got to push through and let go, even when it costs you something to do so.

This is hard. Letting go is hard. I know this. You know this. But what you may not realize is that holding on is even harder. Continually holding on to broken pieces will break you in the worst way. Perpetually seeking to turn death into life and hoping pain magically turns to joy will break you. Living with an ever-present feeling of sadness and misery will break you.

Hoping year after year that you’ll get that job promotion will break you. Asking the same people in your organization—and especially your boss—to see something different in you will break you. Spending another year in a career that you’re not thriving in will break you. But you can break it before it breaks you! You can do this! You can create a wholly different—better—reality, life and career experience.

Something has to Break so that You Can Shine.

In order to experience joy, you have to be joyful. In order to experience peace, you have to be peaceful. In order to build an amazing life and career, you have to be amazing. And you won’t—or you simply can’t—do any of this when your goal is to prevent the break; when your goal is to keep holding on to what’s hurting you.

Many of you have heard me say this. In order to experience different, you have to do different. And to do the different, you first must recognize that something must break—indeed something has to break.

The only issue is whether you end up under the break or over it. The question is whether you ultimately experience a breakdown or a breakthrough.

You’re so much more powerful than you know. You have so much more courage than you realize. You already have everything you need within you to build the life and career you want. You know this because you’ve had the power, courage and strength to hold on to broken pieces that have cut at the core of who you are for years (maybe even decades). You know this because it costs more to hold on than to let go and you’ve been holding on beyond the point of pain and beyond the point of fear. You’ve already sacrificed far too much.

If you can hold on to regret, disappointment and unmet expectations this much (and for this long), you already know you’re remarkable. All you have to do is finally accept that something has to break. Yes, the break will hurt, and it will be painful and scary. But it is necessary for you to grow.

Breakthrough to Life and Career Success!

The grass is not greener on the other side; it’s just much more nourished. I know this because I had to learn to embrace the break and let go of the broken pieces of a life and career that didn’t serve me well. I’ve had to feel every cut, every rejection and every fear. I had to learn to let go and dedicate consistent nourishment toward building the life and career I want.

For sure it’s hard. It takes discipline and sacrifice. Life and career success cost a lot (more than many are willing to pay). But I had my breakthrough, and I highly implore you to go get yours!

After you embrace the break and let go of the broken pieces, you’ll do more than survive—you’ll surely thrive! You’ll thrive in joy and peace far more than you ever thrived in pain and fear. You’ll walk into a world of scary new things—but new things indeed! You’ll build new relationships and support networks that can propel you to new personal and professional heights. You’ll fall down, but you’ll get back up. And—yes—you’ll fail. We all fail sometimes. But your success will be that much sweeter.

Make this time different. Own the power you have to create the life and career success you want. Demonstrate the mental strength to understand your life experiences and setbacks without letting them diminish you.

This is your moment. Now is your time! Make tomorrow different and create meaningful experiences. Embrace the break, and let go of the broken pieces of your life and career.
